Art, Mentorship & Adventure
Kathy Beekman is a fine artist known for her soulful pastel landscapes and evolving ethereal acrylic series. She's also a career coach who's helped artists nationwide build thriving careers since 2006, and a travel guide leading small-group journeys designed to inspire creatives and culture lovers alike.

Meet the Artist
Kathy Beekman is best known for her soft pastel paintings; a demanding, hands-on process where pure powdered pigment (the same used in oil paints) is smudged, blended, and finger-painted directly onto black paper, creating quiet, immersive worlds found nowhere else. Each piece is an original, made exclusively by the artist's own hand. Alongside her pastel work, Kathy creates mixed media paintings on birch panel, layering acrylic, ink, graphite, and gold or silver leaf to build texture, depth, and new dimension beyond a single medium. Kathy's latest project is a Folio collection of intricate, hand-drawn illustrations reimagined as pages meant to be colored by hand.
- Highly collected artist with gallery representation across the U.S.
- Art career coach and workshop leader for artists nationwide
- Author of two books for artists on success and motivation
